Ladies Vets set to represent Hertfordshire at East Region Tournament

On Sunday (11th March) Broxbourne hosted the Ladies Herts County Vets Tournament. Broxbourne played to a high standard throughout winning all three of their games against Letchworth, Bishops Stortford and St Albans. The defence lead by goalkeeper Kim Bames kept a clean sheet while fast open play created opportunities for goals from Jo Shrimpton, Katie Naylor, Lucie Hayes and Emma Brawn. This is the first time Broxbourne has won the tournament in at least 20 years and they will now represent Hertfordshire in the Eastern Region Over 40s Masters Tournament to be held on Sunday 25th March in Canterbury.
