Real Ale & Cider Festival 1 September

The season opener, the sixth annual Real Ale Festival will be held on Saturday 1st September from 6pm onwards. Tickets are available now from the Sports Club bar priced at £18 (£25 if bought on the day). Price includes all real ale, a tankard and entertainment from live band ‘Hit ‘n’ Run’. To line your stomach there will be a hog roast and bbq along with outside entertainment. Camping is also available with sunday morning breakfast. Level 1 Coaching Assistant Award

Interested in getting a coaching qualification? The next Level 1 course will be held in Chelmsford in September and is  now open for bookings.  Download more information & an application form. After the Diamond Jubilee celebrations,  it’s time for the BIG event of the summer…..the official opening of the Broxbourne HC pitch. Here’s one opening ceremony you can get in to see, although we can’t promise you cows and sheep, maybe the odd dog or mosquito. Ladies Eastern Region Over 40s Masters Tournament

Broxbourne represented Hertfordshire in the Eastern Region Over 40s Masters Tournament held on Sunday in Canterbury. They came second, wining their game against Holcombe with well a worked goal finished off by Sue House butlosing to the overall winners Cambridge City who will now play for the East in the National finals on 21st April.
