There will be no increases in any of the club memberships subscriptions or match fees for the 2011/12 season.  However for a number of good reasons, the committee decided to bring forward the deadline for subscriptions to 30th September this year.

(a) Subscriptions can still be paid in two equal cheques, one dated 30th September and one dated 31st January.

(b) Subscriptions can now be paid by credit or debit card. There is a £2.50 charge for credit card and a 50p charge for debit cards.

(c ) Credit card or debit card payments can be made at the club office in person or after 5th September in the bar. Please take the time to complete a membership form when you pay your subscription.

(d) Late payment – Please ensure you have paid your subscription on time as late payment will be enforced this year so please avail yourselves of the above options.

(e) If members find they are in difficulty with their subscription, please speak to your team or section captain and who will deal with it in confidence.

Membership Fees

Please read the clubs code of conduct and then complete the membership application form and forward either through your captain or direct to the club Broxbourne Hockey Club, Broxbourne Sports Club, Mill Lane Close, Broxbourne, Herts EN107BA.

New members who need a security pass should add £5 to this amount as a one-off payment.

Membership subscriptions are payable, in full, by 30th September 2011; or in two halves by cheque, one dated no later than 30th September 2011, and the second dated no later than 31st January. Both cheques made payable to Broxbourne Sports Club and must be submitted by 30th September 2011. If both cheques are not submitted by the due date the payment, late payment fees will apply.

Late Payment – Membership subscriptions not paid by 30th September 2011 will increase to the figures shown above, which must then be paid in one installment.

A no-pay, no-play policy will apply at the discretion of the section captain.

Umpires have their HBHUA fees paid by the Club on completion of 5 games.

Non-playing umpires; on umpiring 6 games to be awarded complementary Social membership of the BSC-Hockey Section, currently at £40.

Playing umpires on umpiring 6 games can claim a 10% refund on their membership at end of the season.

Subscriptions. Umpires who drive their cars to away games can claim £5 towards the costs of petrol etc. Refunds to be claimed from the Club’s Treasurer.

Benefits - As a hockey section member, you are entitled to half-price membership of any other section of Broxbourne Sports Club, free car parking-24/7, discount bar prices and Public Liability insurance cover.

New membership discounts of 50% for senior category – (£85): if new member is introduced to the club by an existing member the existing member receives £25% discount on this year’s membership (£127.50).
