Good news, this weekend sees a double dose of hockey on your tellybox.
First up, starting on Saturday, the BBC will be showing the Women’s Champions Trophy from Rosario on the red button. Great Britain will be taking part in their last major tournament before London 2012 and have been drawn in the same pool as defending champions The Netherlands, who they play on Sunday. Schedule for the pool games confirmed so far as follows:
28th January - 1800-2100 Live Hockey: GB v Japan, Champions Trophy
29th January – 1800-2100 Live Hockey: GB v Netherlands, Champions Trophy(finishes at 2000 on freeview)
31st January - 1800-2000 Live Hockey: China v GB, Champions Trophy

Sunday sees the climax of the indoor hockey season, with the Maxifuel Super Sixes finals, taking place at Wemb ley Arena. The Women’s and Men’s Finals will be shown on Sky Sports 2 from 3pm onwards. More information on the England Hockey website
